Anders Mattiasson (President)
Anders Mattiasson has been Professor of Urology at the Department of
Urology at Lund University Hospital in Sweden since 1989.
He has published numerous scientific papers/reviews/book chapters on urinary
incontinence, benign prostatic hyperplasia, bladder outlet obstruction,
neurourology and related areas.
He is a member of several editorial and advisory boards, and also member
of the Swedish, Scandinavian, European, American and International Urological
Associations, International Continence Society and International Urogynaecological
Association.
He has been President and Vice President of the Swedish Urological Association,
and member of the Scientific Committee of the European Association of
Urology. He has also served as Coordinating Chairman of the Standardisation
Committee of the International Continence Society.
He is the President of the Scandinavian Association of Urology since 2001.
Börje Ljungberg (Treasurer)
Börje Ljungberg Professor of urology, Department of Surgical and Perioperative
Sciences, Urology and Andrology, Umeċ University, Sweden.
Born 1949 in Umeċ, M.D. at Umeċ University 1975, PhD 1986.
Urological training and clinical work, research, teaching at urology and
andrology, University Hospital of Umeċ, Umeċ Sweden.
Has previously been president of the Nordic Urological Associations renal
cell carcinoma group. Was previously also secretary of the Swedish Urological
Association.
Main field of interest: urological oncology, especially renal cell and
bladder carcinoma. Have performed studies on tumour genetics, DNA ploidy,
angiogenesis and cell cycle regulation.
He is the Treasurer of the Scandinavian Association of Urology.
Alexander Schultz (General secretary)
Alexander Schultz Consultant Urologist (Overlege) at the Urological
Department Rikshospitalet, University of Oslo.
Born 1946 in Oslo, Medical studies at Copenhagen University. Postgraduate
education as general surgeon from several Danish Hospitals, Urological
training at Glostrup Hospital and Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen.
In 1988 the longing for snow and mountains became to strong to resist,
and he moved to Oslo to become Consultant at Rikshospitalet in Oslo.
Has been member of the SAU collaboration groups on Renal stones and Reconstructive
urology.
Main field of interest: Reconstructive urological surgery.
